    I'm not an idiot.

Note: every breaking plural noun is a feminine noun. You don't have any idea about breaking plural nouns, check it now.

    ----

There're some prepositions enters in the Beginner and Predicate sentence but change the sentence a little. It makes the beginner an accusative noun and the predicate a nominative noun. Surly, you have an idea about what nominative and accusative are. If not, check syntactic cases.

    First preposition

    إِنَّ

It's used to emphasize the sentence.

    Examples:

Note: notice the marks of beginners, it's changed into accusative marks.

    إِنَّ أَحْمَدً سَعِيدٌ.

    Indeed, Ahmed is not happy.

    إِنَّ الطَّالِبَةَ غَاضِبَةٌ.

    Truly, the student is angry.

    إِنَّ الصَّديقَةَ حَزِينَةٌ.

    Truly, the friend is sad.

    إِنَّ الفَقِيرَ حَزِينٌ.

    Verily, the poor is sad.

    إِنَّ هَذَانِ طِفْلَانِ.

    Truly, these two are children.

    إِنَّ اللَّيْمُونَ حَامِضٌ.

    Indeed, the lemon is sour.

    إِنَّ السُّكَرَ أَبْيَضٌ.

    Truly, the sugar is white.

    إِنَّ الكَعْكَةُ حُلْوَةٌ.

    Indeed, the cake is sweet.

    إِنَّ الجَامِعِيُّينَ أذْكِيَاءٌ.

    Verily, university students are smart.

    إِنَّ خَالِدً مَصْرِّيٌّ.

    Indeed, Khalid is Egyptian.

    إِنَّ أَبِي سَمِينٌ.

    Truly, my father is fat.

    إِنَّ الجَبَلَ بُنِيٌّ.

    Indeed, the mountain is brown.

Note: you have to focus on the pronouns. If they're singular, dual or plural. Otherwise if they are for female or male. It's supposed that you memorized all of this in the previous lesson. Arabic isn't like English. You have to use a specific pronoun if you're talking to or about feminine singular, masculine singular, feminine dual, masculine dual, feminine plural or masculine plural. FOCUS ON these.

For pronouns, there's another rule. Instead of writing the whole pronoun, we use the short form of it. That form usually is used to mean ownership. And we will use the short form (ownership form) with the other abrogating prepositions.

    Singular (for male )

    Singular (for female )

    Dual

    Plural ( for male )

    Plural (for female )

    ~ ـهُ

    ~ ـهَا

    ~ ـهُمَا

    ~ ـهُمْ

    ~ ـهُنَّ

Note: alter (~) with the preposition.

Note: notice that we use these forms after to indicate ownership with some words.

    Like:

The real word and its meaning.

    Indeed, you are miserable.

    إِنَّكُمَا هُنَاكَ.

    Indeed, you are there.

    With negative sentences.

Note: as you know (لَيْسَ) makes the predicate accusative and abrogating prepositions make the beginner nominative, so with this sentence, both beginner and predicate are accusative nouns.

    Examples:

    إِنَّهُ لَيْسَ أعْزَبًا.

    Verily, he is not single.

    إِنَّ هَذَا لَيْسَ قَلَمًا.

    Second preposition

    لَكِنَّ

    It means BUT.

It has the same conditions but it isn't an independent sentence. It can't be the first of a sentence.

    Examples:

    ~ لَكِنّهَا جَمِيلَةٌ.

~ But she is (or it is) beautiful.

    ~ لَكِنَّ البَيْضَ أَبْيَضٌ.

~ But the egg is white.

These examples consists two sentences (abrogating preposition + beginner + "sometimes" negation tool + predicate) + (abrogating preposition + beginner + "sometimes" negation tool + predicate).

    كَأَنَّ الكِتَابَ لَيْسَ غَنِيًّا لَكِنّهُ مُمْتِعُ.

As if the book is not rich (of information), but it's funny.

    كَأَنَّ قَلَمَهُ لَيْسَ ضَائِعًا لَكِنَّهُ لَيْسَ هُنَا.

    إِنَّهُنَّ أذْكِيَاءٌ لَكِنَّهُنَّ كُسَالَى.

Indeed, they are intelligent, but they are lazy.

Note:  as you see, instead of repeating the noun, we used the short form of pronouns.

    Third preposition

    لَيْتَ

    It's used for wishing.

    Fourth preposition

    لَعَلَّ

    It's used for hope.

The difference between them is that (لَيْتَ ) is for impossible things and (لَعَلَّ ) is for expected things.

Note: they have the same conditions. Beginner is accusative. Predicate is nominative.

    لَعَلَّ القَمَرَ مُكْتَمِلٌ.

    Perhaps the moon is complete.

    لَعَلَّ المَادَّةَ سَهْلَةٌ.

    Perhaps the subject is easy.

    لَعَلَّ السَّمَاءَ صَافِيَةٌ.

    Perhaps the sky is clear.

    لَعَلَّ أقْلَامِي مَعِي.

Perhaps my pens are with me.

    لَعَلَّ الكَعْكَةَ لَيْسَتْ سَيِّئَةً.

Perhaps the cake is not bad.

    لَعَلَّهُ هُنَا.

Perhaps it's (or he is) here.

    لَعَلَّهُنَّ صَدِيقَاتِي.

    Perhaps they are my friends.

    لَعَلَّ الكِتَابَ هُنَا.

    Perhaps the book is here.

    لَعَلَّ المِرْآةَ لَيْسَتْ مَكْسُورَةً

Perhaps the mirror is not broken

    لَعَلَّ المُعَلِمَ جَيِّدٌ.

    Perhaps the teacher is good.

    لَيْتَ المْرْآةَ لَيْسَت مَكْسورَةً.

I wish! The mirror is not broken.

    لَيْتَنِي شَابَةٌ.

    Would that! I'm Young.

    لَيْتَهَا لَيْسَتْ أخْتِي.

I wish! She is not my sister.

    لَيْتَ السَّمَاءَ صَافِيَةٌ.

If only! The sky is clear.

    لَيْتَ الكَعْكَةَ لَيْسَتْ سَيِّئَةً.

Would that! The cake is not bad.

    لَيْتَ الشَمْسَ بَارِدَةٌ.

If only! The sun is cool.

    لَيْتَ القِرْدَ غَبِيٌّ.

    Would that! Monkey is stupid.

    لَيْتَ حَبِيبَتِي مَعِي.

I wish! My lover is with me.

The difference between  these sentences is that you didn't see the mirror, the cake or the sky and you hoped they aren't broken, bad, or clear, so you've used (لَعَلَّ ) because that can happen. But after you see the mirror, the cake or the sky you wished that they weren't broken, bad, or clear, so you've used (لَيْتَ ) because it's impossible to make time go back.

    Quesion1:

Depending on this table, put the suitable negation tool.
